Simon uses both traditional and modern methods to forge and adjust shoes to your equine’s individual needs.
Simon will adapt the shoes to suit the specific needs and discipline of your horse, to obtain the best possible performance.
Simon will create a trimming schedule to suit your horse/pony, accordingly to the level of work, growth rate and gait, to ensure optimum comfort for your equine.
Simon successfully completed his Associate Exam (AWCF) in 2016.
This higher level examination is the national benchmark of a farrier's ability to use horse shoeing skills in the treatment of conditions of the foot and equine limb.
The qualification demonstrates in depth knowledge of anatomy, conditions and diseases of the foot, as well as radiological interpretation and competence in modern remedial techniques.
Simon uses a combination of modern and traditional remedial techniques, working alongside your veterinarian when required, to correct any issues with your horse/pony.

Prices start from:-
- £105 per full set of shoes
- £60 per half set of shoes
- £35 per trim

We recommend booking your next appointment in advance to ensure availability at the correct time in accordance with your shoeing/trimming cycle.
Your horse needs shoeing every 5-8 weeks, depending on the horse, it’s gait and discipline.
